About the Event
This is a training course for those interested in achieving their Nights Away Permit.
The course will give you all the information and skills you require, but will NOT allow you to obtain your permit.
Theory - 09:30am Sunday 11th May - at County HQ - where you will learn all about planning and running a camp, including all paperwork associated with a Nights Away experience. You will look at finances, menu planning, core skills of nights away, health and hygiene.
To obtain your Nights Away Permit you will be required to plan and run a camp at a later date, which will be assessed by one of the County/District Nights Away Assessors.
