About the Event
This is a training course for those interested in achieving their Nights Away Permit.
The course will give you all the information and skills you require, but will NOT allow you to obtain your permit.
Theory Session - where you will learn all about planning and running a camp, including all paperwork associated with a Nights Away experience. You will look at finances, menu planning, core skills of nights away, health and hygiene.
Practical Session - this is where you will learn the practical skills and put into practice the learning from the theory.
Food & Drinks will be available on both the Theory Day & the Practical weekend.
Starting on Friday evening at 7:00pm, there will be training in the evening then following it on Saturday morning for the Theory part of the training. We will then run the Practical session Saturday PM till Sunday Lunchtime. All participan…
